Let my people go, Earthlink

I had an Earthlink email account for about 2 years, and its not time to loose spammers that are following me around, so i called Earthlink and followed their IVR prompts to cancel and account. 45 minutes wait! What bs, to open an account there is no wait with their customer service, but to close one they make you wait so long that you hang up and never cancel. Bastards. In parallel research, in hopes of talking to a real human faster I came across a How to get to a human CR fast list.

Gaza border crossing deal

A deal has been reached between Condoleeza Rice and the Israelis to allow Palestenians to cross from Gaza into West Bank. WHY THE HELL? Did Palestenians show that they can be trusted? NO! Did they show that they are willing to put down their arms? NO! Then why the hell is Israel making concessions for them? Because Ms. Rice and Mr. Bush are making them, that's why. They are muscling Israel into giving up control of the border crossings to a corrupt EU officials and rediculous Palestenian Authority. This is a horrible long-term solution, but as far as short-term positions the US Gov't as the Peace brokers. This is going to be a disaster for Israel and and eventually embarassment for the US.

Pirates of the XXI Centrury

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/4428808.stm Long time ago I saw a movie "Pirates of the XX Century", very cool, first Soviet film to feature Karate onscreen (Karate and other martial arts were outlawed in the former USSR and only allowed to be taught in special military schools), fast, powerful action movie about a Russian transport ship seized by pirates somewhere in the Atlantic and taken to a secret island in the Bermudas. And now when I thought that the pirate season is way over, it is still happening in the Indian Ocean in the XXI Century.

Incident Log using Google maps

How cool, the latest using Google's maps http://www.incidentlog.com/ lets you see what's happening in your neighborhood as the cops report it. How sad that my hometown of Atlanta, GA is not participating yet. I will keep my fingers crossed.
